Base Educ Officer to help pass the time! started "Kimshi" college with about half base personnel enrolled in some adult Ed course, K-16, Back to Laughlin as a buck flight instructor, academic instructor, Base Military Personnel Officer, separating AD to help with family business.

Joined Kimbrells, Inc. - Camden (SC) manager, 1964 to 1968

Founding Director, Kershaw County Vocational Center, later Applied Tech Edu Campus (ATEC), 1968 to 1992, earned doctorate, NCSU Raleigh by way of 168 flights from Camden to Raleigh in Piper 180, Camden Airport CFII and Pilot Examiner (249 log books signed '68 to '92)

Unretired in 1992, establishing "Consultants For Instruction (CFI)" to do consultations and teacher training for four major colleges and over 50 school districts and company workshops across the country on grants, occupational lab management, adult & community education, publishing over 25 books, journal articles, and workbooks in these fields - works in progress currently: "Yes, You Can Write Grants That Win!" and "Some Got to Fly and Some Got to Try - The American Work Ethic."

Married to same lady for past 52 years, with three children and nine grandchildren.
