Married to Jimmie Carolyn Cook, retired school teacher (42 years). Three children: (William Spencer Yates, Victoria Carolyn Yates Marullo (dec), Rebecca Elizabeth Yates Bird). Five grandchildren (Vanessa Carolyn & Suzanna Kathryn Marullo; Matthew Spencer & Lois Anne Yates; and Allison Bird & Andrew Carlton Bird).

Lt Col, USAF (Ret).
